After working for a time in his family’s businesses, Michael Olinde became licensed in Insurance and Investments. During the workday, Michael works at his financial services business and his employee benefits business. He also spends time during the week working on his staffing agency, as well as with his brothers on their properties and management real estate business ventures.

Family and faith have always remained central to Michael’s life and through both of these Michael became passionate about giving back to the community. He advances in his faith through participation in Holy Sepulchre and Closer Walk Ministries and by serving as past President of Sunrise Rotary and as part of the Gala Committee of the Notre Dame Seminary. In his mission to give back to the community, Michael serves as a St. Vincent de Paul Board Member, Uniform for Kids Program Chairman, Baton Rouge Serra Club Board Member, and a H.T. Olinde, Jr. Foundation Board Member. As a promoter of Louisiana culture, he participates in Baton Rouge Civil War Round Table, L’Assemble Francais, and the Pointe Coupee Historical Society. Included in Pointe Coupee parish is near by New Roads, a place where Michael spent a large amount of his childhood and a place he remains close to today.

Michael was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA, attending St. Aloysius Catholic School for grade school and later Catholic High School. He went on to get his Business Degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.  On the weekends, Michael can be found attending Our Lady of Mercy and spending time with his wife, Kelley, and four children, Rhagen, Taylor, Jennifer and Michael Jr.

Mark Maier currently serves as CEO & Managing Member of a personally owned professional consulting organization as well as several personal properties and management real estate business ventures. For nearly 30 years, he has been an executive manager and/or consultant to many companies of various sizes in many industries. A partial list of past employers and/or clients includes J.P. Morgan Chase N.A. (Chase Bank), Harrah’s/Caesar’s Entertainment, Xerox/ACS, CB&I/Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, as well as many hotels such as Hilton, Radisson, and Best Western Hotels. Mark’s expertise includes corporate strategy, structure, customer service, marketing, communication, change, and leadership. He has served on many executive strategic planning and project management committees and as a senior mentor on national leadership teams. Mark has assisted various organizations with strategic planning, operations management, and Gulf Coast rebuilding and has been a consultant on several housing programs funded by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development utilizing Community Development Block Grant and Neighborhood Stabilization Project funds – with a focus on affordable rental housing for low- to-moderate income families. 

With roots in accounting and a wealth of executive management experience across many types of organizations, Mark has brought a unique perspective to his leadership roles. Through his Catholic Faith, he has learned to balance the structure and rigor of an effective operational organization with an aggressive and tenacious combination of dedication, skill, and a clear vision of how to meet specific objectives.

Mark was born and raised in Houma, LA and attended St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary and Vandebilt Catholic High School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Nicholls State University, completed the Becker CPA Review Course, and is a Six Sigma green belt.  Mark is married to Dylcia with three sons, Mark Anthony, Matthew and Michael.  He is a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville, LA and serves as lecturer, PSR (CCD) Presenter, Confirmation Team member, food pantry and holiday gift basket drives, and annual auction and festival.  Mark is also a member of the Baton Rouge Serra Club and a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
